Last month we had a quick, last minute trip to the UK. One of many of Chloe's favorite outings was to Peter Rabbit's House at the World of Peter Rabbit in Bowness. I have owned the complete set of Beatrix Potter books for the past few years and every now and then Chloe gets them out and wants me to read them to her. She knows most of the main characters and was so excited to get to see Peter's "house."
There was a short movie at the entrance and about a half hour walk through the burrows and gardens of all of the animals. Chloe was enthralled.
Here is Chloe in Mrs. Tiddlewinks laundry room. It was really adorable.
Sly Mr. Fox is always after Jemima Puddleduck's eggs!
Here is a bit of Peter's Garden in the midst of such a charming Lake District village.
Chloe's favorite. Peter's coat hanging like a scarecrow after Mr. Mac Gregor caught him eating all the vegetables. Ever since we've been home, Chloe has been wanting to read about Peter and his cousin Benjamin Bunny. She gets her bunnies and tells them they are "naughty naughty bunnies" for going into Mr. Mac Gregor's garden. I love her British side!
