The Wonder of Christmas....

The wonder of Christmas was alive at Meyer's Department Store last week! This is pretty exciting for a country that doesn't get "to into" Christmas, or most holidays...except for Australia Day! Meyers did it up right. There was only a 5 minute line to see Santa, and when you got to him, he was in his own little room, patiently waiting and willing to spend as long as your child wanted with him. Chloe asked him for a yellow blanket for her dollies. She had been changing her requests every five minutes before our visit but ever since she has been stuck on the doll blanket. (I think Mrs. Claus will just dig around Chloe's baby clothes boxes and might be in luck!).

After the visit, the children went to Santa's Grotto for a train ride, movie watching, and more fun for as long as they wanted. Chloe and Wilder did some happy dancing around the Christmas tree and the moms and dads tried our best for some photos. Chloe is really understanding the holidays this year and it is just so much fun!
