As it does with little girls, Chloe's Halloween costume ideas changed often throughout the weeks leading to Halloween. A fairy- a fairy princess- a fairy princess angel...
But on the Saturday before Halloween, she had a swim lesson and it was nearing 90 degrees outside. So mama thought quick and came up with a plan! How about a Hula Girl and a Hawaiian Boy?!
Idea accepted by Chloe! Woo too!
Straight after swimming, she kept on her bathing suit and we decked her out in a lai, a grass skirt and her flower hair clip. Ben wore his Hawaiian outfit we bought on our trip.
We headed to the American Woman's Club Halloween Party where there was face painting, snacks, and a pinata!
Drat! I knew I forgot something! Her trick or treat bag. Plastic bag will have to do!
Chloe had been complaining of a sore tummy all morning but I excused it as butterflies because she is not so into swim class at the moment.
A half hearted attempt at breaking the pinata. I should have known something was wrong when she didn't want to eat any of the yummy junk food at the party!
Spiderman Luke, Chloe's new bi-fri, took a hit!
We had to make a quick exit with Hawaiian Dude ready for a sleep and Chloe was hot and not feeling great.
When we got home...we began our week of the dreaded tummy bug! Don't worry, we still managed Halloween and even some Perth style trick or treating!
