Pixie Dust and Fairy Wings

Our THIRD annual Fairy Festival was last weekend and Chloe earned her new purple fairy dress by learning ALL her letters! We had a great time picking it out at the fairy store in Fremantle.  The store was crazy...everything inside it was revolved around fairies, wizards and all things magical!
At the festival, a PR woman and a photographer approached us to have Chloe's picture taken for some ads or publicity for next year's event (maybe). The entire photo shoot she was doing a weird, closed mouth smile!
I felt like someone on "Dance Moms" wanting to shout..."open your mouth! Smile normal!!!"
Hmmmm.
The boys were way out numbered but they still had a fun time watching the Adorable Florables.  It was a play about the different flowers of Western Australia.
The festival was sooooo crazy crowded that we had to go outside the park for some space to spread out and picnic. Right in front of the maypole was the perfect place to park!
Ben was dressed as Peter Pan. He's kind of a fairy, right?!
We finally found our fairy friends Julia and Avery in the crowd. They are the cutest girls and the three of them play so well together.
Oh my word. Nothing sweeter than this...
 Walking around the maypole.
The fairy festival may just be the girliest thing on Earth. I love it and so does Chloe. Ben will have to endure it for a few more years but I'm sure we will be our payback one day when he makes us go to endless hours of soccer, minkie (Aussie field hockey) or bike races!
