Bucket List

On my mom's next to last day in Oz we headed to the Caversham Wildlife Centre. We have visited many times but it is still so much fun to interact with the kangaroos, kaolas, wombats and other Aussie animals.

Most of the kaolas were hidden among the plants but we still enjoyed the "ko-la bears."

Chloe in action telling off the kangaroo. She has learned to pet them with the back of her hand and is very gentle with them. When they crowd her or try to smell her she still gets a bit nervous. "No, no...kangaroo!"

I love this picture of my mom and her roo. She said she could check 'feeding kangaroos in Australia' off her Bucket List. I am so happy she enjoyed her day here so much.

And what could be better to end the day with than a babycino kiss???

mo, the pics and bylines were great! the whole day was fabulous actually seeing these wonderful animals so domesticated. chloe certainly wasn't intimidated and the look on her sweet face was priceless. to be able to actually pet a kangeroo was awesome, and to think that we descended from those animals! oh, maybe it was the chimps i'm thinking of!tee hee
