Happy Halloween!

Albeit a bit early..... The Mums and Tots playgroup had a fun filled Halloween party last week. I am just posting a few pictures because Blogger is not cooperating at the moment. It took quite a bit of planning to come up with decorations and costumes because Aussies aren't over the top for holidays like us Americans.
Chloe was Snow White and I went as Pocahantas.

I love this picture! Snow White with her prince, Austin, returning her lost slipper. Oh...oops. That was supposed to be Cinderella. Oh well, close enough.

Now Snow White is eating the poison apple from the wicked witch! (If you ever want to get a toddler to eat an apple here's how... we filled a big bucket full of water and small apples. They each took turns with a strainer and fished the apple out.)

In the Land of Oz, you can't just march down to your neighborhood Krogers and buy a dozen cute Halloween cupcakes for $6.99. Leanne was sweet enough to bring us these wonderful treats from a local bakery. Yum. I made orange and green Rice Krispy Treats. Target only sells "campfire marshmellows" for about a month a year so we all stocked up. It was a great time had by all the little monsters, witches, princesses, and black cats!
