ALOHA!!!!!

We FINALLY arrived in Hawaii after traveling from  San Fran to Seattle to Kona, Hawaii!  Our plane got in a few hours before my parents and theirs ended up being delayed.
But everyone quickly got into the groove and the laid back Hawaiian attitude. Ahhhh
Ben was very excited to be there and out of his plane seat! Lots of grass to roll around in and eat outside our condo!
The first full day in Hawaii some kid (luckily not MINE!!) pooed in the pool so it was closed all day. Boo.  We drove to a nearby, humongo resort (won't mention it's name due to the infractions we broke there).  It was something out of Disney world and totally over the top crazy!  Dolphins, a tram around the complex, fake beaches with boating...
We thought we could buy a pass to use the water facilities but no luck...sold out for the day.
It was hot. There was water. Very tempting water. Plus we were with Gramma who doesn't usually like to follow the rules. Sooooo....
In we went! And it felt goooooood! We had to hang out with our hands underwater as much as possible so no one would see we didn't have a wrist band.
We live life on the edge, I tell ya!
Dad and Chloe doing coloring in! Grandad learned all the Disney Princess names by the end of the week.
We made it to the beach! Beaches are still hard with Ben as there is not much shade, he is a sand eater, and when the wind whips up it was very uncomfortable for him. But we did manage to get some quality time in the sun and surf.
Oh holiday you get to eat things that you normally don't get to!
We had a couple nice shopping areas near our condo.  Every day we went to see the Koa fish, have a Marble Slab Ice Cream, a Starbucks and to take part in the free Hawaiian demonstrations and crafts.

We loved having Dad around for three and a half sold weeks! Heaven!!!!!
Within the first two days Chloe and Ben were already stylin his and hers Hawaiian outfits!

Quite dapper, I must say!
There was just something about Hawaii. We live by a beautiful beach and have visited beautiful beaches but Hawaii was just...different.
And I was so happy to have quality time with MY Mommy and Daddy!  It is so hard to live so far away.

Oh girl! I can only imagine how much fun you had. We took a day trip to the nifty Disney area but didn't deem ourselves cool enough to sneak in. Way to go. I'm sure you made the best memories with your parents.
