Boxing Day is traditionally the day following Christmas Day, when servants and tradesmen would receive gifts from their superiors or employers, known as a Christmas Box.
Today Boxing Day is better known as a bank or public holiday on December 26th. It is observed in the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and some other Commonwealth nations.
Why thank you, Wikipedia. I always thought Boxing Day was the day you box up all your things you got for Christmas that you want to re gift. Hee hee.
Anyway, our Boxing Day was hot and laid back. A morning at the beach and an evening of slipping and sliding and BBQing at Vanessa's. Ben would not get off the slip n slid and Imogene loves her some Ben! He actually slept until 7:30 the next morning and thus began his rapid change to one nap a day!
