Oh Mary!

 This was Chloe's last year at her Child Care Centre and she was chosen to be Mary in the Nativity Play.
I was a little concerned about her being able to pull off a 'humble' Mary because when the teacher told her she would be Mary, she ran around the room in a victory dance shouting "I AM MARY! WOO HOO!"  Hmmm...we spoke about how God chose Mary because of her kind and gentle ways and how she was to hold the baby Jesus gently and lovingly....fingers were crossed on the big day.
She did great and her Joseph (aka George) was just darling.
She had a little bought of stage fright just before the show and we had to make a quick dart to the bathroom.  Back just in time!

 The adorable shepherds keep watch by their fire.

 Mary and Joseph took their roles very seriously. They had to pass Jesus back and forth throughout the song and put him in the manger at the end. That was the fastest passing I had even seen. They would only hold Jesus about 1 second before they passed him on.

 Chloe's good pal, Kaia, was a Wise Man. Chloe gets the sillies whenever they are together.

 Angels, shepherds, wise men, oh my!  It was just too cute!

Everyone got a book from the big guy!

 Back at home our tree was up and decorated with Ben's angel he 'made' on top!

 Just a few more days of trying hard to be on the nice list!

 School holidays are very tiring for Mommy's but we had some great play dates with good friends like Shelby (and Justin) just before they left for Singapore!
