Das Hyndman Haus returned yesterday from our 12 day holiday to the Margaret River Region. We moved around quite a bit and saw a lot of Western Australia. Some of you already know, but our wonderful holiday was almost cut short by a very serious car accident. We are all just fine, but our car was totaled by a Korean backpacker who blew through a stop sign at 60 mph with no insurance. It was a truly life changing event and one that I am trying to put behind me so I am going to press on an concentrate on the fun we had! Here goes.....
The first four nights we spent at the Pumphill Farms in Pemberton. It was a cozy little family friendly place with sweet little cottages, hay rides each morning, and a cute town to boot! Chloe got very into feeding the ducks, sheep, goats, and cows. We collected our own eggs for breakfast each morning and had a great ride on a tram through the woods. We took walks through to see the enormous trees and relaxed by the lakes. It was definitely the most rustic place we stayed and a good way to start the trip. I think my little farmer looks so cute in her duds! She is a pro at all the animal sounds (except the pig) and even does a "boing boing" with her hands when she sees a kangaroo!+152.jpg)
