A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

On Sunday we headed to King's Park with some friends to experience the Wildflower Festival. It was THE MOST BEAUTIFUL day! Chilly when you were in the shade, but nice and warm in the sun.
First, we saw the Wildflower Theatre as they showcased live versions of some of Western Australia's most glorious flowers. Chloe loved the little play and there was enough adult humor thrown in to keep us happy.
Afterwards, we enjoyed coffees and snacks with our friends. We listened to some jazz music on the lawn and Chloe did her dance/roll around on the ground.
It was a perfect morning and a perfect nap followed back at home. Here are some of my favorite pics from the day.... just makes me wish I had one of those fancy shmancy SLR cameras...hinty, hinty...hubby.
