A Little Slice of Texas Birthday Party

A great time was had by all at Ansley's 3rd birthday.  But probably the most fun was had by all the TEXANS in the HOUSE!!!  Fellow Houstonians Melanie, Bob, Ansley and Brynn threw a wonderful "Cowgirl Party."  Check out this adorable cake that their friend made!  Chloe keeps talking about the "scarecrow" aka Cowgirl on top.

 Willie Nelson, Jerry Jeff Walker and Jack Ingram played in the background as the kiddos rode on PONIES! How fun is that?  Three out of four of Chloe's past pony rides have been successful. We had a freak out at the Perth Royal Show but luckily today was a "good pony day." 

 Chloe and all the kids had at least two turns each.  They. Loved. It!

Chloe loves her some Ella!  And who couldn't?!  She is really good and gentle with babies.  Younger toddlers...not so much.  We are working on it.

Happy Birthday sweet Ansley! Thanks for the lovely party. And tell your mom thanks for the delish chili, cornbread, and fixins at your house afterwards. It was a little piece of home on a plate! Yum.
