Seems we have been going a hundred miles an hour lately and we were all soooo happy that we had a three day weekend. Australia's Federation Day was Monday and it was just in the nick of time! The weather was great and we enjoyed so much play time outdoors. Friday was Chloe's ballet class. She loves it (most of the time) and has met a little pal named Iris. Iris' mom is very sweet as well and we all went to a nearby park for a picnic and a play.
Chloe has been very into a new book called Ella Bella and Swan Lake. She knows the story of the black swan and white swan princesses and for ballet this week she wanted to be the black swan Odille.
On Saturday we met Marc after his bike ride for coffee and muffins at his hang out. Afterwards we walked over to the Subi Farmers Market for some shopping, more snacks and a play on the playground. Chloe and I love a good Farmer's Market!
Sunday was Ansley's 3rd birthday! She was the cutest little cowgirl I have ever seen and what's better than a birthday party?...a birthday party with ponies! More on that later....
We finished up the weekend with a trip to the Zoo and a ride on the new train. Chloe loved the rhinos best and I liked the orangutans. That evening we went to a very cold beach to see the sunset and collect shells. Why can't every weekend be three days long?
