It was so fun to be with all the girls on the plane...we usually have about 15 little ones with us and can only half concentrate on any kind of conversation. And the 3.5 hour flight seemed sooooo short and luxurious compared to 30+ hours (with kids) to get home to the US. We read, ate and talked...uninterrupted!
After a hair raising shuttle ride to the resort (families of 3, 4, and 5 whizzing by on little scooters in and out of traffic) we arrived in paradise! I took this picture of our little friend we met on the grounds for my friend Laura's little boy, Jacob.
The first night was just chilled and relaxed with everyone sound asleep by 11:00. The next morning some of us took a tour of the grounds to see what kind of fun and trouble we could get into.
The Bump had a friend along, too! Robin's baby is due a week before mine and they both wiggled and kicked whenever we had our non-alcoholic beverages.
Even though there was kayaking, archery, aqua aerobics, windsurfing, and trapezing...we ended up spending most of our time relaxing under the sun.
More on our next days in Bali soon...
