Last Saturday morning, we headed out early to Cottesloe Beach to watch the annual Swim To Rottnest Island. It is a 21 Km swim (15 miles) and can be done in teams of 4 our as individuals. The earliest group begins before 6am and it takes the fastest swimmers over four hours. It was a fantastic sight to behold and I was in awe of the athlete's strength and determination. I sat there guiltily eating my ham and cheese croissant and thinking about how my New Years Resolution to go to the gym and exercise more has really panned out. Does chasing after Chloe all day count???

Yes it does!!!
Cool pics! Miss and love you!!!
A toddler is the BEST workout. You get cardio from all the chasing, strength training from the lifting of dead weight and the lifting of wiggly weight, you get the test of wills (as in whose is strongest), and of course the best part is the warm up and the cool down... morning and evening hugs, kisses, and smiles!
